Green Partners Association (GPA)
GPA was created on 4th June 2013 as an apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit-making civil society organization (CSO). It was registered in Limbe, South West region of Cameroon; Reg. No. 560/G.37/184/VOLII/SAAJP – Limbe, 04 June 2013, in conformity with prescriptions of Article 7 of Law No. 90/053 of 19/12/90 relating to the creation and functioning of associations in Cameroon. In 2018 our Head Office was moved to Bamenda, North West region of Cameroon, with a field office in Buea. For the past five years our activities have been concentrated in the two conflict affected Anglophone (NW/SW) regions of Cameroon (however, with limited interventions in the Littoral and West regions).
OUR VISION
Green Partners Association believes in “Sustainability and Equity for all” – building a resilient people; resilient planet and resilient profit; to enhance a society of meaningful purpose – where ‘we all’ are able to enhance a balance between the competing (and most often conflicting) values of socially responsible initiatives, environmental performance and economic rationality.
OUR MISSION
GPA is committed towards engaging, empowering and equipping people that suffer social exclusion: people exposed to inequalities and various forms of vulnerabilities – people in distress and in dire need of lifesaving protection measures, resulting from deprivation of basic human, indigenous and children’s rights and loss of human dignity.
