The Center for Research and Integrated Health Systems Strengthening (CRIHSS Foundation) the Lab partner of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Board (CBCHB) within the framework of CAMPHIA 2024 is a local organization in Cameroon focused on strengthening laboratory services including sample transportation for the health sector. Since 2019 CRIHSS Foundation continues to collaborate with local and international organizations to support the Government of Cameroon (GoC) in the development and implementation of health programs. The organization collaborates with the Ministry of Health and other partners to strengthen laboratory capacity and clinical services, with a particular focus on HIV testing (VL, EID), TB services and treatment. In the last five years, CRIHSS has been at the forefront of advancing laboratory services with an emphasis on designing and implementing sample transportation services for HIV (VL, EID, TB and other related programs). Within this framework, CRIHSS Foundation has worked extensively with PEPFAR IPs to expand its sample transportation service delivery program from one region (<20 PEPFAR supported sites) to eight regions (>300 PEPFAR supported sites), i.e. 80% regional coverage across PEPFAR supported sites.
