Description
As the Senior Business Developer for Cameroon, your primary focus is to drive revenue growth within the largest SMBs and system integrators for Primus Cloud Solutions in the African region. This role involves initiating and fostering key relationships, developing team-wide best practices, and serving as the first point of contact for customers. You will work closely with a passionate team of experienced DevOps engineers and Presales Engineers to create excitement about Primus Solutions and ensure rapid growth in monthly recurring revenue and customer retention.
This role sits in the commercial team reporting to the sales and marketing consultant.
Location: This role will be base in the littoral region of Cameroon.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Primus Cloud products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target companies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the Cameroon IT industry.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing campaigns supporting sales objectives.
  • Provide feedback to the product team on market needs and product enhancements.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to close, including contract negotiations.
  • Analyze and report on sales and marketing data to inform future strategies.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, focusing on SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Bilingual – English and French).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Odoo CRM.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS, ORACLE) trends and market dynamics.
  • Understanding of sales and marketing strategies and techniques.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and data analysis.
  • Understanding of contract negotiations and legal agreements.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and key players in the industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
