MAGISHA GROUP Ltd is seeking an experience Secretary / Office assistant to manage the daily activities.
Salary range
The salary range is negotiable and will be rising on an annual incremental basis.
Contract
This is a permanent full-time role. The successful candidate must have the right to work in Yaounde and resident not far from Mvog betsi at the time of submitting this application.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
We are looking for someone who has a passion for assisting in the management of a company, using the information available and the personal experience to improve performance and engagement to drive movements. This role is in the management team and works directly with the manager(s) and may work directly with external managers:
  • Positioning your role plainly as Secretary / Office Assistant;
  • Optimizing the handling of information, written and oral;
  • Mastering the rational dimension of the post;
  • Establishing a win/win work relationship;
  • According your time and priorities to the work plan;
  • Understanding conflict resolution strategies in the work plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Composing messages, entering data, managing databases and producing presentations;
  • Negotiating with vendors, managing stockrooms and maintaining office supply inventory;
  • Operating and maintaining communal office equipment, machines, copiers;
  • Collaborating with the Management Team to improve company journey and offering.

Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
  • Significant professional experience in a similar role, 
  • Experience in managing complex projects and workflows. 
  • Experience in liaising with and managing external contractors, 
  • Experience of working across various digital channels, including email, social media and other storytelling platforms. 
Essential values and attributes 
  • High school diploma or associate’s degree.
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to the mission and values of MAGISHA GROUP Ltd.
  • Team player spirit, proactive and able to confidently take initiative and make appropriate decisions. 
  • Willingness to work flexibly.
Desirable Skills
Understanding of and experience using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXpress, CorelDraw, video editing software). 
Able to speak and write in French and English.
