Salary: 275,000 FCFA/month with the first review after one year
- Evaluate potential investments by analyzing startup ideas across various aspects: product, market, team, ethics, governance, financial models, investment terms, and exit strategies.
- Conduct thorough research, gathering and interpreting data from diverse sources, including company financials, market trends, economic indicators, political and environmental risks.
- Prepare compelling investment presentations, effectively communicating your findings to our internal team and external experts.
- Continuously monitor portfolio companies, tracking their performance and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Analytical thinking and ability to identify patterns and trends from complex data sets.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgments
- Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Communication skills, including excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning.
- Experience with investment valuation methodologies.
- Knowledge of the Sub-Saharan African startup ecosystem.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and French
- Education & Experience: A Master degree in finance or business with 0-5 years’ experience. Degrees in accounting, statistics, and economics may also be considered.
