Position: Finance Associate
Job Description:
The Finance Associate will be responsible for assisting in various financial activities to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information. This role offert an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant finance experience and possess strong analytical skills.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and reviewing financial transactions for accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making purposes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internai controls.
- Assist in financial audits by preparing audit schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a finance-related role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred
- Experience with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- CPA or relevant professional certification (or in progress).
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in financial analysis, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or corporate finance.
