NM House aims at providing a healthy, safe environment for Street dwelling street kids and other vulnerable to thrive and grow, by providing decent housing, education, healthcare, life skills, and vocational-Entrepreneurship training.
VISION:
We see a world without corruption not any form of injustice. A world in which every man's voice is heard with no prejudice not a form of injustice.
We envisage a world in which Humans have learn to share all that they have and live in a climate of one another's keeper.
We envisage a world in which necessities (food, NM Homes, health, education, etc) are free and equally distributed regardless of our beliefs, gender and ethnicity.
Over the recent 4 years, NM House has accomplished significant milestones in our mission to empower and bring hope to Cameroon's street children. As an organization committed to the sustainable development goals of No Poverty, Quality Education, and Reduced Inequalities, we have made a notable impact in our community.
Our primary objective from 2022 to 2028 is to establish an informal educational system in regions of Cameroon where formal education has been inaccessible for street-connected children. To date, we have successfully set up educational programs in three regions, reaching over 123 street-connected children through informal education.
Furthermore, in Yaounde alone, we provide essential services to more than 50 children each year. By addressing their basic needs, we are laying the foundation for their holistic development. Our efforts have been recognized by the community and stakeholders, resulting in increased volunteer and donor support.
Looking ahead, our long-term goal is to expand our reach across six regions of need in Cameroon, ensuring that no street child is left behind. We aim to provide access to education through our informal educational solutions of mobile schools, community schools, and holistic support to at least 750 street-connected children between now and 2026.
